| Most Memorable Race: During the 2007 season we got stuck in traffic on the way to Florence, KY. By the time we got to the track, we had missed all the heat races. After sitting in the truck for over 5 hours, we were determined to do some racing. We tagged the tail of the B-main. It was a 12 laps with 23 cars, and only the top 4 went onto the feature. I was involved in a first lap pile-up that took out 2 cars and left us with front end damage, but still able to continue. After 2 more cautions, we found ourselves in contention. But as our luck in the 07 season, we took the checkered flag in 5th place, 1 car short of making the show. After the race we were informed that is was family night, and they wanted all the cars and drivers out on the track for autographs. After talking to numerous fans, I realized one of the coolest things about racing is, you don't always have to make the show, to make a fan. |
